There is a very good biological reason why you don't boil the miso soup. Boiling kills the bacteria or microorganisms in the miso paste. You lose the benefits if eating the miso The microorganisms in the miso paste survive live into your gut. They reproduce and produce short chain fatty acids, which repairs leaky gut, improve your immune system even if you don't have leaky gut. They kill some of the bad bacteria in your gut, and the manufacture foods to feed the lactobavillus bacteria further down in your Colon, enabling those microorganisms to produce vitamins and other nutrients to keep you in good health!

I'm Korean and I just moved to Yokosuka, not knowing much about Japanese cuisine. I was so confused the first time I tasted Umeboshi! In Korea we pickle/ferment them too, but in a very very sweet way. So the Japanese salty Ume was a cultural shock! This video is so educational and inspiring, I can't wait to experience with Umeboshi now!

Howdy boys , great looking sandwich, but looking at it I would add a little more of the egg to make sure that the egg covers all the way to the edges. Nothing like biting into dry bread (ugh) take care of yourselves.😁

My favorite condiment ever!! I have to get family members send it to me from other countries as its almost impossible to find where i live. I just found another way to eat it and its delicious!: fry an egg and leave the center runny. I spread the umeboshi on whole wheat toasted bread, add the egg on top with some spring onion and a drizzling of sesame oil. Absolutely delicious! Or just eat them like a snack or with some rice and Katsuoboshi😊 i wish i could get it more often, such a treat
